ABOUT
I'm Luisa Cruz, a storyboard artist, animator and illustrator from Colombia working on animation focusing my career in storyboarding and visual narrative. 

I am a graduate from the National University of Colombia in BA in Fine Arts and from the Bristol School of Animation with an MA in Animation, in the UK. 

As an artist working in the animation industry, I have worked in diverse projects, mainly on animation for children, animated series, and also collaborating on the visual development on short and feature films. I also have experience in other parts of the animation process such as visual development, character layout and background painting.

 I've had the opportunity to be part of the Toon Boon Ambassador Program in 2020 and 2022 and part of the Portfolio Domestika Talento Joven Colombia 2020.

I am a big storytelling and animation enthusiast and I try to keep to day with the latest series, shorts and projects, but I enjoy various other arts as well as physical activity! that's why I've been practicing Taekwondo for 12 years, and also practicing classical ballet for the last 4 .

This website reunites aspects I consider important as an artist whose work is mainly online and as someone who still wants to have some control over the way my work is viewed: it is a professional portfolio of my work in the creative industries, an archive of my work and artistic trajectory, and an online hub for my current and future artistic endeavors away from social media.
